I see a theme this week: bricks! This photo challenge is actually getting easier and
easier as the weeks go on. When I first started with it, I was weirdly embarassed
to be taking photos of things I pass on the street. I have no idea why... it makes no
sense. So I'm happy to say that by week 8, I'm almost completely over my
irrational fear of public photography!

of the page to find them.
We had a nice kitty photo shoot here yesterday when not one, not two, but three
birds showed up on our patio. These guys are such city kitties though, they didn't
know what to do with themselves. But it gave me a chance to snap some good photos
while they were frozen in awe.
Barney acts tough but he would have no idea what to do if he actually got his paws on
This guy's a different story. I've always thought that if Marshall ever got outside
he'd instantly turn into a wild cat.
Barney: Hey would you mind grabbing one of those birds for me so I can sniff it?
This week was all about kitties. Wait, isn't every week like that? I had my
watercolors out working on a DIY project I'll be posting this week. You have to
watch Marshall around watercolors though cause he loves to eat them. He's so weird.
He wants nothing to do with milk or peanut butter like normal cats, but give him
some coffee grinds and a rye & coke and he'll go to town! Told ya he was weird.
Check him out in the bottom right corner trying to munch on some Cadmium Red.

P.S. I don't actually let Marshall eat coffee grinds or coke. But he's a
sneaky fellow, so he's definitely snuck a taste here and there!
Happy Valentine's Day! This week you get a triple dose of kitties! The orange one
isn't mine, he just lives in my neighbourhood. I hope you like the photo, because I
think I weirded out his owner when she caught me having a kitty photo shoot with him.
