Caturday: Roar

Isn't it the best when you unintentionally snap a photo of a kitty with their mouth open? It makes Marshall look ferocious, but really he was just mid-meow.

Here are this week's links:

  • I'm just dying for a pretty floral dress, like this one from Anthropologie.

  • I'll never understand why one day I want to dress all in flowers like a girl and the next day all in triangles like some... iPhone case from Society6.

  • Speaking of Society6, I'm in love with this print by David Fleck. The sky is beautiful and the detail in the building is incredible.

  • When I found this tote bag the other day, I laughed because many years ago when I was really clueless (even more than today!) I ordered my first business cards with 'stationery' spelled wrong. Luckily I noticed before I gave them out to anyone.

  • If you have love/hate relationship with Pinterest like me, you'll get a kick out of the Pictureless Pinterest Twitter account. It's hilarious and you should follow them. While you're there, you should follow me too!

Have a great weekend everyone. Say hi to your Mother for me.

No words, just sleeping kitties and Star Trek this week. :)

Caturday: Nap Time

We have a bean bag chair and it's one of Barney's favorite places to sleep.

Here are this week's links:

  • I came across Gimme Bar this week and I'm loving it. It's the same concept as Pinterest except you can keep your items private. In addition to collecting images, you can grab tweets, videos and text. It's proving to be very valuable at keeping things organized (and private) for blog posts.

  • These little Vitriini glass boxes are so beautiful. Perfect for keeping jewelry.

  • Here are the perfect colorpop jeans from Madewell. I love them in purple...and red...and green. I'll just take them all.

  • You may have already seen this on another blog, but the Things I'm afraid to Tell you project that Creature Comforts started is just wonderful. Tons of bloggers have participated, and list keeps growing.

Well this week was pretty typical: kitties, cookies and cranes. Yep, there's tons of construction going on around my building. Construction equipment and big piles of dirt are all I can take pictures of lately. Luckily the cats are always up for a photo shoot. We also took a little road trip home to see my parents. It was perfect weather.
