You know how we just bought a house, right? Well I was getting
a little sick of just counting the days til we move in (we're at 70 now), so this
week I tried to pack my schedule with so much crap I would forget what day it was.
And... success! It totally worked. I not only forgot about my countdown, I forgot
what day of the week it was. I spent Wednesday through Sunday at the Tanenbaum
Opera Centre working for Luminato. Spades directed by Robert LePage was showing
there. While I wasn't at the theatre, I tried to cram in a couple other events.
Here are my photos from that week:
Top Left: This was basically my uniform for the week. Black top, black scallop skirt,
black tights and my flats with the leopard print bow.
Top Right: Friday night we went up to the top floor of the Sherton to see the
Luminato Artist Lounge. The view was incredible and Rufus Wainwright was there, or so
I'm told. I'm not a good celebrity spotter.
Middle Left: The inside of the Tanenbaum. So much exposed brick, yum.
Middle Right: This is part of the lovely neighbourhood around the theatre, called
Old Toronto. Lots to look at.
Bottom Left: For some reason Old Toronto is packed with furniture shops. I walked
by these neon orange chairs everyday and now I want want WANT!
Bottom Right: Here's a sneaky photo of the stage. I say sneaky because I'm not sure
if I was allowed to take it. The whole stage was more elaborate and complex
than I could have imagined. I mean, holy trap doors and moving pieces. If you ever
get a chance to see Spades, I highly recommend it. Even if you're not a 'theatre'
person, there are several scene changes that will make you think, "How the HECK did
Did you know that we get the keys to our new house in 78 days? Not that
I'm counting. I've tried to jam my schedule as full as I can lately, just
so I'll stop thinking about what day it is. This coming week I'll be working
at show during Luminato and I'm very excited
about that. I have plans to help out a bit during Summerworks too, but that's
not totally confirmed.
This week I tried mostly to focus on getting a few new designs
out there. I also saw a beautiful rainbow over Toronto, and began learning
to code! The week would obviously not be complete without a couple photos
of sleeping kitties. I'll never get tired of that!
Boy, I've been busy designing lately. A lot of my new designs have been going to my
Pingg Gallery, so I wanted
to add some to my Etsy shop too. Btw, if you haven't heard of Pingg
you need to check it out now. It's a super stylish way to send online invitations,
especially if you choose one of my designs!
How's that for shameless self-promotion? I don't know if I should be saying this, but
when I explain to people what Pingg is I always tell them that it's like Evite but with
designs you actually want to send to your friends!
Ok, now here's a look at the newest designs in my Etsy shop. They're all really
different from each, so I think there's something for everyone.

All of the wedding sets in my Etsy shop are
printable designs. Printable wedding invites are something that I really believe
is going to become very popular. Nowadays, most people have a printer fancy
enough to handle these designs. And if you don't, there are roughly 10 million places
you can take the file to get it printed on the cheap. There are even online printers
now, so you can get it done without leaving your couch. If you're interested in
printing your own invites, but you have questions just let
me know. I'd be happy to help!
Tiring week. Can't write in full sentences. Rest of post will be bullet points.
