Paris at Sixteen

At the age of 16 I was fortunate enough to go on an amazing trip to Paris. Without my parents. Did I mention that I was 16 years old? Ten years later, it still remains one of the best weeks of my life. I stuffed my face at every bakery I passed, I ordered a beer in restaurant, went to the Eiffel Tower at night, cruised down La Seine and saw some beautiful works of art. I just dug up some of these old photos, I hope you like them!

This is as close as you're going to get to seeing a photo of me! Back then I didn't own tweezers and I cut my own bangs. Also, my luggage got lost so my outfits were all ill-fitting pieces I borrowed from friends.

I don't know that red-headed lady. Isn't it weird to think that you could be in some stranger's vacation photos?

I even bought a roll of black and white film, ooh la la! Remember when you had to get entire roll of film just to take one photo in black and white? It would have been a lot easier if I had an iPhone back then.

One of the highlights was seeing the Picasso museum. I could have spent all day there.

I want to go back so bad, but I'm almost afraid it won't be as good as the memory! What about you? Traveled to any cool places?
