Books and Nooks
Could this be the start of a new series? Not sure yet. I am the queen of unfinished blog series. I can't even count how many times I've written a post with "part 1" in the title only to never speak of it again.
Here's a little Sara trivia tidbit for ya; I love to read. I always have at least one book on the go. I also read in kind of a strange way. If I'm not 100% engaged and loving the book, I drop it. You know when you're really not into a book but you keep going anyways cause you feel like it would be a waste to not finish it? Not me. I don't think reading should be a chore, so if I'm not in love, I toss it immediately. That might sound a little harsh or wasteful but it makes reading so enjoyable for me.

I recently finished We Need to Talk About Kevin and all I could say after it was over was "wow". It was such an intense book. Eva, who never really wanted to be a mother, ends up raising an evil little monster who grows up to murder 9 people at his high school. The book is written in the form of letters to Eva's estranged husband that she writes after the shooting. It left me pondering the question: Are people born evil or are they made that way by the people around them? Maybe this soothing rocking chair will help you make it through this book.
