The Pantone fall colour report came out a while ago but I'm just getting
around to blogging about it now. I've picked out some lovely items from Etsy to showcase the earthy, rich colours for fall! It looks like
we'll continue to see a lot of mixing of neutrals, but with a punch of bright colour. I think my favourite colour has to be that
beautiful Emberglow. Finding a flattering orange is so hard, but this one has the perfect little hint of pink.
Etsy has some incredible vintage finds, but sometimes it feels like there's a lot to sift through to find the gems. Today I've
gathered up a few of my favourite vintage pieces from my favourite Etsy shops. You should know I'm slightly obsessed with finding
something vintage to spray paint neon and I have my sights set on you, Mr. Bunny! I think you would look very handsome spray painted a
crazy neon colour! Also, I have no idea what I would do with a cage lamp, but there it is and I want it.
- Vintage Globe from Dingaling Vintage
- Amber Glass Dessert Cups from Lady Lifetime Vintage
- Vintage Brass Bunny from Kings Down Road
- Industrial Wire Cage Lamp from Hindsvik
Am I the only one who feels a little weird about wearing a black dress to a wedding? Some people still (ahem, grandma) find it
inappropriate to wear black to a wedding. There's a school of thought that black is worn to funerals, not happy
occasions. But I think with the right accessories and at the right wedding, it can be not only totally appropriate but very chic! Adding
touches like a playful nail polish and colourful jewelry can easily brighten your outfit up. I still probably wouldn't wear a black lace
dress to conservation mid-day church service. But an evening cocktail reception? Go for it!
Here's my picks for getting your little black dress wedding-ready!
- BCBG Max Azria Aegle V-Neck Pleated Cocktail Dress
- Essie Lilacism Nail Polish
- BCBG Max Azria Danya Two-Tone T-Strap Evening Sandal
- Anthropologie Inner Circle Necklace
I have it bad for ceramics. What? Is that weird? I just can't resist a pretty vase! Today's lovely finds are brought you by Esty.
Stripes? Polka dots? In rainbow colors?? I'll take 10. (zombie walks over to wallet)

Oh wow. This is when I fantasize about being a talented home maker and cooking up a gorgeous meal using these bowls. Oh everyone
will be so impressed! I can dream can't I? I guess first I need to learn how to cook. Then the bowls.

These vases combine ceramics with another one of my obsessions: dip dye!

Oh for crying out loud, would you look at this little guy! I would buy this right now if I didn't know for sure it would become a cat toy.
Seriously, doesn't matter how high up I hide this thing one of them will find it.
