Let me introduce you to my amazing sponsors for June!
First up is CalliopeKitten. Krystyn runs an adorable jewelry shop from right here in
Toronto. Her shop is filled with colorful resin creations, some of which look so
delicious you'll be tempted to take a bite! She makes everything from teeny tiny
bottles filled with sprinkles, to resin animal pendants, and anything in
between. Stop by her shop
and take a look at all her wonderful jewelry.
Pearl Amour Jewels
Next I'd like you to meet Pearl Amour Jewels,
a lovely little jewelry shop run by Asma. Using a wide variety of materials, Asma
creates some very elegant pieces. Stop by her shop today and check it out. Right now,
if you 'like' her Facebook page, you will receive a 10% discount on your order.
If you would like to sponsor my blog, please go to my sponsor page
for details. I manage all my ads using Passionfruit Ads
now, so the whole process is super easy. Ads can start at any time, not just the
beginning of a month and run for 30 days. So you could buy your spot today and see
it on the blog right away!
Ruche just released their Summer Lookbook
called 'The Tuscan Sun' and it is so gorgeous. Every single page is beautiful. I
basically want every outift, it's all so light and flowery! You should definitely
head over to Ruche and check it out, but be warned you will want to just empty your
wallet after you see it!

Did you know that we get the keys to our new house in 78 days? Not that
I'm counting. I've tried to jam my schedule as full as I can lately, just
so I'll stop thinking about what day it is. This coming week I'll be working
at show during Luminato and I'm very excited
about that. I have plans to help out a bit during Summerworks too, but that's
not totally confirmed.
This week I tried mostly to focus on getting a few new designs
out there. I also saw a beautiful rainbow over Toronto, and began learning
to code! The week would obviously not be complete without a couple photos
of sleeping kitties. I'll never get tired of that!
Wedding season is upon us and like most of you I've be searching the Internet for
a new party dress or two. You can't be caught dead wearing the same dress to different
weddings! Just kidding, I'm actually trying this year (as much as I can) to shop from
my closet. But whether you're in the market for a brand new dress or just a couple
accessories to brighten up an old one, why not take some fashion advice from nature!
This is the dress that started me on my quest to dress like a flower. The colours and
the texture are so perfectly inspired by nature. You may also recognize this dress as
one Amanda Seyfried wore
during New York Fashion Week. Owning this gorgeous dress is a bit out of most people's price range
at $2,100 but you can rent it from Rent the Runway for $275!
Pair this lovely lace number with a co-ordinating pink Diana. If you're into
photography, a medium format camera can give you some interesting and unexpected photos
that you won't get from digital.
I know, this is a leaf not a flower. It still makes for great wardrobe inspiration. This
leafy green dress would be great for an outdoor wedding and will look lovely in photos.
