Match It or Clash It: Jewelry

Ah, to match or to clash? Isn't that the age old question? Well maybe not, but it is fun. Matching, while a little safe, is sure to make you look put together. But if it's done right, adding a clashing item to your outfit can be very trendy and fun. Why not start with something easy like your jewelry? I've gathered up a few examples to get you started.

Purple dress, purple necklace right? I do this so often when shopping for an outfit and there's nothing wrong it, the purple looks great, but the coral one gives it a whole new look.

You know what's weird? Trying to explain to your family what a blog is. My dad had questions like, "How do you have a blog?" and "Who owns all the blogs?". Ummm...I don't even know where to start with those. He also asked what I write about and just sort of stared at me when I said "Oh you know... pretty things that I like and also kitties. Lots of kitties." I think I broke his brain when I tried to tell him what I do as a Passionfruit Intern. For some reason he didn't understand the explanation that I blog about blogging! I've resigned myself to the fact that I will probably never have a job that can be fully explained to my family.

Well I think this is the first time I've been late with a 'View From' post. Some family things have come up that I need to deal with, so expect the blog to be a little sparse until I'm feeling better. The phrase I have been hearing a lot this past week is "hang in there". And I'm trying my best to do just that. Hug the people you love a little tighter today, ok?

I love metallics. They make a great neutral either in your wardrobe or in your home.
